You can download the HelperGo app on your mobile phone or use our web platform. For short-term babysitter, you can get someone as quick as a day’s time.  For contract babysitter and confinement nanny, our care coordinator would contact you to follow up your request.

Depending on your time and location, the matching might take longer than usual. We will usually contact you regarding any alternatives and flexibility to help the matching process. You will receive a notification once you have been matched.

According to your needs, select one-time or package service and then fill in the booking information required.

If you pick a short-term babysitter and the matching is successful, the helper will contact you asap.

If it is contractual, you can preview those helpers who are interested in your job. HelperGo will get in touch with you and arrange an interview.

Currently, all helpers with HelperGo are local independent partners using the platform to connect with homeowners like yourself. Only Hong Kong citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) are allowed to do freelance as helpers. It is illegal for others like foreign domestic workers to moonlight for a household other than the employer they have a contract with.

Every individual has been personally vetted by the HelperGo team.

User can choose not to enter the full address but we suggest that user at least input the street and building name, in order to make the matching process more accurate.

HelperGo understands that different users have different requirements, it is recommended that users can make good use of the Job Title and Additional Requirements.  If a user has other requirements or information that the babysitter / confinement nanny needs to know and is not covered by the app, the user can set that in the additional requirements.

Yes, you need to enter your credit card details before making a booking if you hire a short- term babysitter.

You can either cancel the job or reopen one for another helper. If the helper cancelled and you were charged, please inform us and we will investigate what happened.

You can select the service and select ‘cancel today’. Do note that cancellation charge applies for change within 24 hours and also 24 hours before service begins. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more details.

According to the Employers’ Compensation Ordinance, employer should purchase an insurance to cover his/her liabilities for employee’s injuries at work, irrespective of the length of employment contract or working hours, full-time or part-time employment. The one fails to comply will lead to a fine or imprisonment.

Insurance is excluded in HelperGo service fee, employer can purchase by himself/herself or via HelperGo.
